1% for the Planet (1FTP) exists to build and support an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet.  When we consider the enormity of the environmental crisis it's easy to feel overwhelmed and helpless, however, 1FTP is enabling businesses like ours to take a lead role in being environmental stewards and to set an example for the rest of the business community. 

 

As part of a large community of over 1,200 member companies in 38 countries, the 1% community has become a global frontrunner in funding the work of environmental groups around the world ... in 2009, cumulative giving from 1% member companies exceeded $50 million.

 

IT'S REALLY SIMPLE ... as the name suggests, we donate 1% of ALL our sales to approved environmental organisations and we want you to be a part of the process!  For our part, we are supporting the Woodland Trust though we really value your suggestions - you can either nominate one of the pre-approved non-profit organisations or, better still, tell us which projects are closest to your heart and as long as they are focussed on sustainability, we'll nominate them to receive 1% of the cost (excluding VAT) of your project!

 

Whilst we are passionate about leading our peers in the business community to financially support environmental projects, we are also committed to matching our environmental donations with support for orphan children in Central Africa.
