A simple assessment of the way we conduct our business demonstrated that, in addition to the journeys we undertake to deliver and install our buildings which are difficult to avoid, our main reason to travel is our face-to-face design consultation meetings at our clients' homes.We do not want to stop meeting with our clients as (1) we would cease to have a business and (2) we really value the close interaction with our clients and believe strongly in a consultative design process.
So we have developed a convenient system of online meetings, using the great online meeting tool, www.gotomeeting.com. Now we can meet with our clients online whilst chatting over the telephone (or VoIP if you are that way inclined!) and as a result, we are making a positive contribution to the reduction of our carbon footprint ...
Furthermore, if you choose an online meeting in preference to a home visit (only available Mon-Fri, 10.00am to 4.00pm), we can offer a quicker response as well as more flexible appointment times, including weekday evenings and weekends. And you don't even need to be at home for the meeting - just fit in the online meeting around your working day!
There are also free apps (for iPhone or Android phones) that will allow you to join our meeting on the move - just ask for details and we'll help you get started!
